Silence, You Are Needed In the Building.

These four walls built around the wrinkly smudge in the upstairs of my body shake but never break. I'm waiting for some silence to enter and put these blurred colors of broken pictures that make up memories to rest. After all this time you still swirl across the parts of me that I thought were no longer there. All you left me with was our "forever" and my sturdy four walls.
Now, I wait, with hopeful sighs and tears, for silence. I can feel it near when I close my shattered eyes and breathe. I know when it comes these four walls will twist and collapse with the brilliance of relief and gentleness. So thank you for leaving me with these four walls and silence.
